Consultation
We listen first. Tell us what you’re experiencing, how long you’ve been dealing with it and how it affects your everyday life.
Pain & Musculoskeletal
An injury can change more than your training. It can affect how you move, sleep, work and live.
At Life Meridian, we treat sports-related pain, stiffness, muscle tension and movement problems with acupuncture. We begin by understanding how the injury happened, what symptoms you're experiencing and what treatment you've already received.
Every injury is different, which is why your treatment is planned around your condition rather than a standard protocol.
How treatment works
We treat sports-related pain, stiffness and restricted movement with acupuncture, working on the areas that are holding up your recovery.
Your treatment can focus on:
Your course is set after the first assessment and reviewed as the injury settles.
Your first visit
You don’t need to know which treatment you need before you walk through our doors. We begin by understanding your symptoms, your history and what you’ve already tried. Following assessment, your acupuncture treatment plan is developed according to the nature of the injury, your symptoms, functional limitations and clinical presentation.
We listen first. Tell us what you’re experiencing, how long you’ve been dealing with it and how it affects your everyday life.
We look at the whole picture. Your symptoms, medical history, previous treatment and available reports are considered before a treatment approach is recommended.
Your treatment is planned around you. Your practitioner will explain the proposed acupuncture treatment, treatment frequency and clinical goals.
Your response matters. Your progress is reviewed through the course of care, and the treatment plan can be adjusted according to how you respond.
Why Life Meridian
Life Meridian brings together the experience of an established clinic with a more modern, patient-focused approach to acupuncture and holistic care.
We don’t believe in one treatment for everyone.
Our StoryHow treatment is decided
Before treatment, your practitioner goes through your symptoms, your medical history, the medicines you take and anything else relevant to your care. That assessment is what shapes your treatment plan, and it is revisited as you go.

“I believe good treatment starts with listening. Before discussing acupuncture, I want to understand what you’re experiencing, how long you’ve been dealing with it, what you’ve already tried and how it is affecting your everyday life.”
“Every patient comes with a different history, so every treatment plan should be considered individually. My role is to assess your condition carefully, explain your options clearly and recommend an approach that is appropriate for you.”
